Met de FLT presenteert EIZO een duurzame desktopmonitor die de hoogste classificatie van het Europese energielabel (A) behaalt en daarmee wereldwijd de eerste monitor in zijn klasse is. De FlexScan FLT schittert met een gemiddeld stroomverbruik van slechts 6 watt, wat gezien de huidige hoge energiekosten zeker een statement is. De monitor is consequent gericht op duurzaamheid en moderne kantoorwerkomgevingen. De behuizing van de FLT is gemaakt van 95% gerecycled plastic en ook voor de verpakking zijn gerecyclede materialen gebruikt om de impact op het milieu te verminderen. Dit is een belangrijke bijdrage aan het besparen van hulpbronnen zoals materialen en energie, evenals de CO2-voetafdruk. [Op beeldkwaliteit hoeft niet te worden ingeleverd - net als bij EIZO. Contrast, verlichting, kleurruimtevolume, sRGB-modus en grijsbalans scoren topscores.

The test subject is consistently geared towards sustainability and modern office environments. The housing of the FLT consists of 95% recycled plastic, and recycled materials are also used for the packaging to reduce environmental pollution. This is an important contribution to conserving resources such as materials and energy, as well as to reducing the carbon footprint.
